Hello! Welcome to my portfolio. I’m Sheri Palmer, an illustrator originally from Ireland.
I now live in the glorious Portuguese countryside with seven hairy barbarians – four dogs, two cats and one husband.
I work freelance creating illustrations for children’s books, board games, websites and social media. If you have a project featuring dogs, cats, anything fluffy, feathered or scaled I’m your gal! I have six beautiful models at home, not counting the many scaled and feathered gatecrashers we get here in rural Portugal.
I also love drawing quirky characters, hand lettering and anything with a magical or vintage vibe. I work digitally in procreate and affinity.
When I’m not working I love reading Sci-Fi and fantasy books, sketching, walking my dogs and pet sitting – that’s right six of my own aren’t enough, when I travel I like to look after other people’s fluffy maniacs too.
If you’d like to work together or if you just want to say hello please email me at hello@sheripalmerillustration.com
With You by my Side
I’ve been working with the lovely and talented Jerri Pirc on “With you by my side”.
Written by Jerri, Illustrated and designed by me, to honour Jerri’s reading dog Jazz. A gorgeous girl with glorious floofs. She helped many reluctant readers build confidence and learn to love reading. “With you by my side” follows Jazz’ s adventures as a reading dog.
